Paris Mélange I
Each day I've tried to offer the a variety of what we 've done as a way to chronicle our wonderful visit here in Paris. However, I've found that I have a number of photographs left over from various places and things that I've photographed that are not necessarily part of our "day". I've decided to occasionally add a Paris Mélange post. I pray this is not "overkill"!

Wonderful, joyous photos;
Eva DOES blend right in-
as do YOU, lovely blogger!
"Daryl sent me"
Aloha, Virginia
Your melange is making me homesick. And you look beautiful, but the hiker's going to think you're superimposed. How about a photo of you deeply involved in, say, du vin? Ou peut-etre un conversation avec Mme. Sarkozy? Oh. I guess you missed your chance today, unless the Secret Service actually take baby-sitting jobs.
Great shots! Your little Eve certainly likes pink, doesn't she? She looks great amongst those pink flowers. That is a great shot of you too!!
A Mullins capture. Now that is a treasure. Paris obviously suits you by that smile. Your aim to convey a mixed bouquet of the day really works for me. You are definitely growing in confidence this time in Paris to last and it shows. Some excellent work, more than hobby photography. I always say have fun,and the tech bit will click into place. You are, it shows. Always the pleasure most definitely mine.
Oh you look so Parisian! And so wonderfully happy. I'm so happy for you that you're enjoying your trip. I especially love the top photo with the faded shutters and the ivy crawling up the building and the lamp post and those bikes parked out front. Splendid!
great pics,love them all....Barb
I don't think I can ever get enough of your Paris photos! This mélange is exceptional. The ivy and the shutters with bicycles, too; Eva in pink striking the perfect pose in the roses; and I think I see my first "Virginia with scarf" photo of the trip.....
I agree with Petrea. I'd like to see a photo of you indulging in one of those afternoon wine breaks.
Great shots! Those la Tour Eiffel elevators really freaked me out when we rode them.... I guess the diagnol motion... but I do have some irrational fears... whatever.
Virginia, I took some time Saturday morning to catch up on all your doings in Paris. Every photo is a visual vacation. In fact, I was so inspired I had to grab my sketch pad and start drawing. I hope you don't mind, I've linked to you today and posted the picture I drew which was inspired by your cute grandkids.
V, Your Paris melange is magnifique! More, more, more si vous plais! (forgive my French)
Oh, I am going to stop looking at your photos, or else go AWOL from school....! Just soooo nostalgic for me. I positively LOVE your banner.
More photos please!
Just wonderful .. even the happy meal pix .. I did that, left the camera AND the cellphone home one day while out on an errand I was so discombobulated .. and of course missed several excellent pix ..
I see you saw Stevie Wren was inspired by your photos as well...
Petrea has a point. Nah, you look too gorgeous and happy. And you can't post enough of these fabulous photos for my taste.
Gotta love that first photo... looks like the ivy is hugging a reluctant facade. I'd love to live there, behind the windows partially obscured by the ivy.
Love the foliage photos, and yes Eva does perfectly blend, and also thanks for the beautiful photo of yourself in your favorite environs!
David
Yes it's the Hotel de Ville !
There's no such thing as "overkill" when it comes to pictures (or blogs) of Paris.
I was going to write exactly the same thing as Starman...he said it right!
Love each and every photo for they are all special pieces of the special city of light that remains glowing in my mind and imagination!
I'm so glad you are having such a wonderful time!
Just marvelous V. Hope you have enough photos to keep us happy till your next visit!
Not overkill, just a wonderful addition!
I'm all caught up now as I've been awol for a few days. Looking forward to more :)
why oh why do I have a weakness for flower pictures? but I do, especially for les fleurs francais. Ce sont les couleurs, je crois!
Very nice shot of you here, Virginia. I love that first one. Somehow it makes me think I'm not in Paris, which is doubtless a stupid thing to say. A lovely variety here.
Wonderful, wonderful.
I do like your new photo too - tres chic.
You look fabulous, and your scarf complements the sunset! But, you planned that, right? :-).
