La Tour Eiffel + Chocolat = Ooh La La!

Sometimes having an obsessive photographer's eye saves one some euros and some calories.  I was so preoccupied with capturing this window, that I just realized those fabulous chocolat la Tours were only 8.40e!!  I would have paid that in a heartbeat and taken one back to nibble on for the week. NON,  I wouldn't have eaten it... I would have made a zillion photographs of it!  Maybe I'll have another chance to visit this shop in my future, located across from the Église Sainte-Trinité if memory serves.

Is this a bit like eating the ears off of the chocolate Easter bunny? Would you start at the top... I think that I would begin nibbling at the bottom - hah!

You are right about the location: La Bonbonniere de la Trinite at 4, place d'Estienne-d'Orves... let's go!

Very tempting ! Very cruel of you to post this ! May just have to go by there to satisfy the intense chocolate craving you have just inspired... Endless fun in Paris !

I am SO there next month! This would make an interesting (if no doubt fleeting because I'd eat it for sure) addition to my little Tour Eiffel collection. Thanks for the tip, V!

Maybe when you bite the top off, Grand Marnier comes oozing out.

Oooo Nadege...I like your suggestion. What could be better than Grand Marnier and chocolate? Champagne & chocolate? Port & chocolate? Expresso & chocolate? Red Bull & chocolate...

Alexa,
I can't wait for your trip and your photos!

Nadege,
Oui, you are on to something good, very good!

Owen,
How do you resist all the decadence living in Paris?

Mary,
RED BULL ? Bleh! HA

David,
I think I can and I'll go back and buy one.

Genie,
So much Paris, so little time.

Jidhu,
Moi aussi!

Love your reflection in the ET composition, Virginia. Let's go & munch a little each day. I think from a structural standpoint, I would have to start at the top -- don't want it to topple over!

I will have to check this bonbonnière out in July! At "Jadis & Gourmande" (75004; 39, rue des Archives) you can also get chocolate Eiffel Towers.

The chocolat is nice, but I really like the double exposure effect of your reflection.

Oh I just love the packaging!!!

Oh, I've seen these! Except they were somewhere close to rue Cambon, and they were a lot more expensive.... like 50 euros expensive. I took a picture of them too, along with the full-size chocolate replicas they had of Manolo Blahniks.
