Pardon pour la présentation!!!
Mary and I stopped at a sidewalk crêperie near the apartment late one night. I bought my first.......but not my last Nutella crêpe. Be still my heart. We had decided to share it, but by the time we got home, I'd pretty much eaten the bloom off the rose. ( Well it was warm, and gooey.......) Mary was lucky to get a taste. Miam, miam!!!

Nutella is a basic food group, n'est-ce pas? Vin, fromage, baguette, nutella... yes, that just about covers it! Miam-miam!

I approve of the choice of the crêpe..... but instead of Nutella, which I do not like ... (I'm alone in the world ????).... I would put in a beautiful dark chocolate .... do you know the Perugina chocolate? Well, I'm from Perugia ...

Crêpe au nutella, oui oui oui !
Mmmmmm, Nutella!
OMG I lovee Nutella :D
Virginia, I can't believe it's taken you this long to discover Nutella crepes!!! I agree with Genie, it is a basic Parisian food group. Miam-miam, wish I had one now.
I was just about to have a salad for lunch—again. All of a sudden, it doesn't sound the least bit appetizing. Oh frabjous day when you taste your first crepe with nutella!—right, V?
Cinthia you're not alone. I don't really care for Nutella either. I much prefer a Grand Marnier crêpe.
Bonjour Miss Virginia, That photo of your crepe made me travel back to my home country by magic! It's very close to Argentina, in South America and like Argentina, very European in many ways. Crepes are very popular for dessert and we eat them with Dulce de Leche instead of Nutella. Dulce de Leche is Peruvian of origin (they called it Natillas piuranas.)Whatever the name, it is delicious! We also use it, mixed with a little bit of rum or whisky for cake filling. The process of making it is long, but there's a popular shorcut we use all the time. It's in this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaD8FjKpi5w I like your blog so much! Thank you.
Cinthia, I don't know the Perugina chocolate, but I'd like to! :)
Maria,
Thanks for that tasty comment. I LOVE Dulce de Leche, and think it would make a divine crêpe!! Thank you for you visiting my blog.
M,
Darling, you look marvelous in your new profile photo!!!!
starman,
I'm having trouble figuring how they make that crepe. Do they make a sauce withe Grand Marnier or just pour it in a glass and you drink it while nibbling your crepe! :) And for the record, I'm speechless that the only two people on the planet that don't like Nutella are blog followers! HA
All the rest of you, let's get a big jar and a spoon!
As long as you are not going to sue Nutella for having put on weight, just go ahead and dig in! (Read about an American mum doing just that last week. She complained that there was no mention on the jar about the possibility of gaining weight if you don't eat anything apart from Nutella. Poor children and sad state of affair. )
Annelies (Mrs. jb)
Annelies,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Dont' worry I know I have only myself to blame for weight gain and so far have resisted the urge to buy the biggest jar of Nutella I can find and get in the closet with a spoon! I've not checked, we'll let jb do that, but I'd venture peanut butter/jelly has more calories. I found Nutella late in life, but I'm very glad I did! Now I have one more thing to try and pass up in Paris!! It's in line behind wine, champagne, baguettes, pain au chocolat, macarons and cheese, chocolat mousse and crême brulée. Yikes, that's one helluva high calorie list!
