It's not often that I appear in my Paris photos. This great day last January, Peter took my camera and was our photographer. I just love this shot of my travel buddy Mary and me with la Tour Eiffel in the background. Of course it's the most "touristy" of photos, but girls just wanna have fun.......in Paree!

I love it too!
There is no difficulty to get your smiles on a photo; you seem to be smiling all the time ! (But as you quote me, I wish you had straightened up the photo a little bit! Shame on me!) :-)
Touristy or not, it's two friends (three, Peter) having fun in Paris... How does it get any better...
<3 You have to have the occasional tourist shot, non? You both look like you are having a ton of fun!
This is SUCH A GREAT PHOTO!!!
This picture is so ADORABLE, I love your smiles, you both are beautiful!
Léia :)
That is why you go to Paree... to have fun with friends :-) as Genie said So what if it is Touristy :-)
Peter,
Oopps, I didn't think to straigten it. Let's tell everyone why Mary and I were having such a laugh....Peter was crouched in this hilarious position in order to get la Tour in the photo as well. Thanks for being such a good sport Peter!
Oh la la .. you two out shine la Tour Eiffel
Great, great photo. I can just visualize Peter taking this photo and hear the two of you chatting and laughing!
Beautiful photograph!!!
Picture perfect portrait!
Ooooh, envious. You are obviously having waaay too much fun! Love those gorgeous grins!
It's too bad we missed you guys. It would have been fun.
Starman, I regret that we missed you as well. Someday my friend.
And for all of you....what's not to smile about when you are in Paris. Good friends, good times! :)

I love it! And Peter, the slant gives it a certain movement that makes it look modern and fun.
Fun, fun, fun photo!!! I can practically hear the laughter!!!
And Peter...a straight image would have been so wrong!!! The angle is part of the charm!!!
Irresistable....
It doesn't get much better than that and it shows on your faces. :)
You're standing at almost the very spot where I had my pocket picked 7 years ago ;-)
Such lovely touristes! I like seeing you in some of your photos and the joy in your faces is priceless. Merci Peter for allowing us to share in this!
M,
I agree, we were thrilled to have a photo shot by our dear ami Peter. I like it a tad bit askew as well. Mary and I are always a bit off center so it was parfait!
Ahhhh...Paris pick pockets!!! The Chief (at the time, Commander) had a 24 hour stop in Paris on his way home from Moldova where he and a fellow law enforcement colleague...a female Lieutenant... taught a series of classes in law enforcement...well...while in the Notre Dame subway station a street urchin...about 14 years old...stuck his hands in the purse of the female Lieutenant to "pick her purse"...now...this kid didn't realize he'd just tangled with a mountain lion!!! She kept hold of the purse, they went round and round in circles with him trying his best to get the goods and get away...she held on...and the Chief tackled him....to make a long story short...the kid let go, the Chief let him up and the kid took off running...not exactly a great endorsement for the Chief on the wonders and excitement of Paree!!! But hopefully a life lesson for the kid!!!
