We haven't played this in quite a while. I'm doing a little contest on my Birmingham blog today so I thought we'd have some fun here as well. For this, all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me WHERE I took this photo and WHAT it is.... Let the games begin!

Err I dont have ide where is it or what is it but its nice :D
It seems to be made of wood so, it could be a door but which one ? Have a nice day, Virginia, here it's raining, again and again...
I don't know what or where, but it looks like something etched into a building. Nice photo!
Hee, I know you're not expecting me to know, Virginia! But it's lovely.
A Gordian knot at Basilique du Sacré Coeur?
I have no clue but it is a beautiful photo. I am guessing that it is made of wood with the carving of initials. Hummm....

Here is a teaser for you. Paris rouge http://flic.kr/p/8GERPS
It reminds me of the rood screen carvings at St. Etienne. Is it the door of a confessional? Whatever it may be, it is very interesting and a very nicely framed photo.
I think it is a confessionnal door (window) and it has to be in this "?" church, basilica, cathedral.
Je ne sais pas mais je pense à la porte d'une mosquée!
Wonderful guesses,I'll announce the winner tomorrow! :)
Guess I'm very late to this. No clue, except Paris, old and beautifully photographed.
I don't have a clue, but I'll guess it's in the Conciergerie. Wherever it is, it's beautiful!
From the Institut du Monde Arabe?
Never been to your fair city so I cant say where but it looks like some sort of Celtic knot
Not a clue!!!
