Sunday Church Series, Église Saint-Eustache

Saint Eustache

Today's Sunday Church Series takes us to Saint Eustache in the 1eme,  built between 1532-1632. It is considered an excellent example of late Gothic architecture.  See for yourself.

For all my faithful readers and commentors, I have been very busy with training for a new job. I hope to get back to comments and blog visits shortly.

Beautiful church, it looks big enough to be a Cathedral.

Best of luck and congratulations on your new job!

What great coloring. I keep meaning to go inside, I've looked at the outside enough! Karin really loved it.

This view is breathtaking, V. I have been but would really like to hear a concert and take photos of the organ pipes. Beautiful Sunday photo.

The ceiling just soars overhead -- and the colors are lovely. Would love to visit this gorgeous church (putting it on "the list"). Best wishes for the job!

I follow a lot of Paris blogs, but had not seen yours prior to today, when it appeared on a recommended listing within Google Reader. (Jeez! I think that last sentence was long enough to make me think I'm channeling Henry James). Anyway, I am now a full time subscriber and I do love your photos!
