Lettres
What a delightful way to receive your mail. I'm willing to bet that these charming tiles were purchased in the hardware wonderland at BHV ( Bazaar Hôtel de Ville). How do I know? I have some myself!
Merci to my Paris ami Laurent at Daily Photo Paris, who has kindly linked to my blog again today with a terrific Paris rouge shot. Next trip, I'm meeting Laurent right there!

Nice framing....
Some story behind those unlocked locks...
Beautiful! I wonder if it is as pretty on the other side. I bet it is.

Great composition, V! I love the letters (or lettres) AND the locks—probably all purchased at the hardware heaven that is BHV.
Oh so chic ..
Beautiful photo, Virginia! Love the color contrasts and the details of the locks and letters. I agree that there must be a story here.
Charming!!!
With such a nice sign, I bet you don't even receive any bills.

Mais, on est tu, et l'autre pas?
Love the color of the tiles against the background wall color.
Do you have your tiles framed and up yet? I purchased some house numbers on a trip to Rocamodour and still don't have them up!
My WV fits this post: prettey!
This is fabulous, Virgina. So simple but so powerful. It couldn't help but make any mail seem...important! :)
