After a long flight, long haul through CDG, long ride into Paris on the RER, I finally arrived at my friends Keri and Richard's apartment. After I caught my breath, we headed for lunch on the Left Bank. This beautiful home reminded me why I love Paris.

I almost went to Paris, more than once. Somehow always something else comes up.
My Paris plans seem to get jinxed every time. Maybe it's Marie-Antoinette wanting me to stay away?
