Minuit à Paris

Actually it was a little earlier but these are the steps of Saint Étienne du Mont made famous by the movie Midnight in Paris.

Today I rejoin James' Weekend Reflections right HERE!

The shimmer of rain on granite steps evoke memories of cosy fires and warm conversations.

One of my fav movies Virginia, I'd recognise those steps anywhere :)

I've wondered where that scene was shot for longer than I can say. I should have just asked you!

Jeannie,
When I saw the movie I couldn't place it myself. It took another visit to Parisi and someone pointing it out to me!

Love the angle—and though I wasn't there I can still picture you taking this shot, V. :~}

Wonderful mood in the shot, Virginia! Beautiful!

BTW, V—the reason you might not have recognized this spot may be because they mounted lights on those pipes on the side of the church, but there aren't normally lights there.
