Biking Across Paris

Renting a Vélib in Paris is a great idea. Most Parisians don't own a car and renting a Vélib is an economical and easy way to zip around Paris for a few euros. I will admit the thought of riding a bike on the streets of Paris terrifies me, but I'm in the faint of heart category. Don't listen to me. If you are fit and courageous, got for it. If you're not, join me on the Métro or bus!

I'll join you on the metro V. Bicycle riding is hazardous enough for me in my city let alone on the other side of the world. Lots of skill in this photograph.

I think you could ride a bike here if you really wanted to. Give it a try.

I think I would try riding a bike but driving a car is a definite "no-no" for me.

Fabulous composition on this, V. Yes, I'm terrified of a bike that isn't nailed to the ground, too -- and in Paris all the more so. Rick, on the other hand, would love to do that. That would equally terrify me!

There is a similar program in place here.

Such a nice composition. I have rented bikes in other cities but have not biked in Paris. Given the chance, I might be bold enough. We'll see.

Some day (when I work up the courage to put myself out there in Paris traffic)!
