Bonjour Paris! With any luck at all, we are in Charles de Gaulle Airport ( CDG) today , feeling somewhat human. Hopefully the French Customs Officials are pleased as punch to see us, and we will shortly be off to meet M. Santa- Ana and his nice big van that can accomodate all of our excessive American luggage!
( I have not mastered the Paris/Birmingham post option time thing yet. Please bear with me. )

Nice promenade lighting in this one. Even nicer name of restaurant.
Enjoy!
Virg...both of your blogs are simply stunning - you have an amazing eye and incredible talent. We're so lucky to be able to live vicariously via toi!
A la prochaine mon amie!

So now, Paris est à toi! I would have been here to welcome you and your family, Virginie, but unfortunately, I was in Paris yesterday just for the day... But I have found an apartment for my daughter, if everything goes well with the owner, after this summer, she will live in a street very close to Les Invalides, just a few steps on the pavement and one can see on the left the Invalides dome, on the right Le Grand Palais and la Seine, and in front of... la Tour Eiffel!
Just now, I hope the jet lag is not too difficult and the kids are happy. Take care!
I am very excited for you and us, V. Have a wonderful time and I'll be watching and commenting. YES!!

Welcome !! You're very lucky with the weather ;) Have a good time !
Another great photo!
I was just calculating Paris time and wondering what you might be doing. I hope all went well with the drive into Paris with M. Santa-Ana.
Bienvenue en Paris. I wish I was there to greet you in person.
That looks like Place des Vosges.
looks like a nice place to relax if you have a moment, have a wonderful day....Barb
Thanks everyone. This photo today was from the Place des Vosges as most of you guessed. I have quite a few I took today after our arrival. WE had a nice walk and dinner and now we are pretty close to crashing!

I'm looking forward to reading your blog. I found it by chance while searching for Paris hotels. We live in Helena so it was interesting to find another local traveling to Paris! We are going in July for our 10th wedding anniversary. I have been to Paris for a couple of days & my husband has never been. Your photos are very beautiful. Two months there is a dream!
I thought I would take one more peek at today's post and was delighted with yet another beautiful banner (however, I am very partial to the previous one). Thanks for identifying today's post -- I had also guessed correctly.
You'll be waking up soon -- Have a pain au chocolat pour moi! That's my favorite thing to have for breakfast.
lovely memories of Paris. I am looking forward to your photos
Bonjour! Let the journey begin
