La Parfumerie

Back to le Marais for another visit. I do believe I get more great photos per square foot in this area of Paris than anywhere else. Today, a pretty little parfumerie. I found the violette parfum I had been searching for but alas, that Euro thing again! La sigh.........

Oooh, very pretty!! {This one's going onto 'The Virginia List'. :)} And it looks exactly like somewhere one would discover a rare violette parfum.

Shell,
You'll have to fill me in on "my list"! :)

Lady Jicky,
Ahhhh, Annick Goutal does have a most wonderful violette fragrance. I sprayed myself from head to toe in it!!! Very pricey as well, but thanks for the tip.

The Marais is very close to the way Paris used to be. There are all kinds of wonders to be found there. If wwe were there now, like we were supposed to be, our apartment would have been in the Marais, on rue Saint-Antoine (the street that turns into rue de Rivoli).

I love violets, I would be in heaven just to step through the door.

I wonder if this shop is the home of .. wait, I embiggened the photo and recognize the bottles. The perfume from this shop is sold in lots of upscale department stores and boutiques here in NYC .. I myself own a bottle of their Passage d'Enfer!

Daryl,
Email me the name. Maybe I can find it here. It was dreamy as was the shop!

Starman,
I think I'd like to try and stay there my next visit. It would be fun to be so close to all the quaint shops etc. I'm so sorry your trip didn't work out. Hope you get there soon. How are you feeling, by the way?
