I think if I were a cemetery cat in Paris, this would be my choice. Cimetière des Chiens et Autres Animaux Domestiques in the northwest suburb of Paris, Asnières-sur-Seine is probably one of my favorite resting places in Paris. The fact that I found Meeps' Parisian cousin has nothing to do with it!

Some serious eye contact going on between these two kitties V.
Well fed, contentious cats!
I love the cats in Parisian cemeteries. I wonder why they are so drawn to them? They seem to be silent guardians.
I have an odd story about a cemetery cat. Earlier in the day when meeting Peter in Montmartre, I saw an orange cat that looked much like Gypsy, who was starting his final journey and died soon after our return. When Peter took us to the Montmartre cemetery, I was captivated by one cat hiding out in the rain in what seemed to be a particularly interesting monument. She had a black and white face, curious, lovely. I didn't realize till just recently when reviewing my Paris photos that she is a dead ringer for Lizzie Cosette. Nine lives? Perhaps.
Wonderful photo, Virginia! Love this. And of course it has nothing to do with Meeps' cousin there! ;)
