I stop by Ma Bourgogne overlooking the park at Place des Vosges every trip. This past January, Mary and I came screeching in for something warm to drink (for a change) in the afternoon of our last day. It was nice enough to sit right here. La vie est belle.

Alexa, oh dear, no wonder the waiter tried to pat me down! I didn't know my wine glass was a "hot" item!

When the waiter tried to pat you down, did you tell him to stop in another fifteen or twenty minutes?
Gee, I would have saved this for the March theme day.
Lucile and I "discovered" this restaurant in Oct. The lamb chops and pommes frites were our choice on both occasions we were there. Our waiter from Sri Lanka was ever so nice, but he didn't pat us down - can't wait to tell 92 year old Lucile that she missed out on this! Did you take any photos of the clever water spout just outside the restrooms?
