Frederic Chopin's grave at Père Lachaise is lovely in its own right but this red rose left as a tribute made it even more beautiful. I hope my pianist friend Michael Dulin will be happy now that I've paid my respects!

The red rose is fitting. He was a very romantic soul. {Thumbs up from me too, dear V. I love playing Chopin most of all. Shhhh, don't tell the others.}
Un très bel hommage effectivement que la présence de cette rose rouge... Mais la photo et l'oeil de l'artiste apporte une note encore plus belle...
gros bisous
Yes the red rose is a beautiful valentine to Chopin....
A poetic image! :)

One of the most romantic spots in Pere Lachaise. Don't think I've ever been there that there wasn't a rose, usually just one. (And he has a nice view across the path and down the hill, if I recall rightly.)

Wonderful! Perfect for a man and composer like Chopin. A favorite of mine. :) What a magnificent photograph.
A fabulous composer and nice contrast in the photo. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
