I am fairly certain that I have photographed Madame walking along the quai near the Louvre in 2014. It's uncanny how many times I discover images of Parisians I recognize from previous trips. Come back tomorrow and I'll share the photo and you can be the judge.

Today is the first day of the month, and I join my City Daily Photobloggers around the world who are posting their photos on April's theme..... The Beauty of Simplicity.  In a city that is so fabulously over the top with architectural details and grand beauty, it was a daunting task, but I chose this serene scene taken from a bridge. The autumn trees along the Seine.
