L'exposition

One of the many things about November is Paris is that it's always Photo Paris month. The Hôtel de Ville never disappoints. In 2013, they featured the rights of humanity in powerful photographs.

City Daily Photo Theme Day - The Beauty of Simplicity

Today is the first day of the month, and I join my City Daily Photobloggers around the world who are posting their photos on April's theme..... The Beauty of Simplicity.  In a city that is so fabulously over the top with architectural details and grand beauty, it was a daunting task, but I chose this serene scene taken from a bridge. The autumn trees along the Seine.

Pollarding in Paris

The French have mastered the fine art of tree trimming. Since my first visit to Paris in 2007, I have been fascinated at the way they manicure the trees in the gardens. I've learned since,  this technique is called pollarding. Love seeing it in the fall at Tuileries.

Les Feuilles Rouges

One perk of visiting Paris in November is the spectacular color.  Forgive me if I overdo the foliage photos for a while.
