Chareau Malmaison, in the town of Rueil-Malmaison, is just a short Métro/bus trip outside of Paris. It  is a lovely day trip. The last home of Joséphine de Beauharnais and Napoléon. The home and gardens are beautiful.

This quarter scale replica of the Statue of Liberty was given to the city of Paris in 1889 by the expat community to mark the centennial of the French Revolution. Located on the Île aux Cygnes, she faces west towards New York City.
