Honoring Fallen American Soldiers
This beautiful memorial at the American Cathedral in Paris honors American soldiers who died during WWI and WWII. This video is very informative and gives a wider perspective of the memorial.

The Centre Georges Pompidou
The Centre Pompidou is not my most favorite museum in Paris but it's a space that should be visited. It's inside out architecture , it opened in 1977. There are always a number of contemporary exhibits and the view from the top is stunning.

Charmant
The Butte aux Cailles neighborhood in the 13th arrondissement, is a lovely, out of the way place to just wander up and down the hills. It is full of charming homes as this.

Meet Elliott Erwitt
This is one of the displays of Elliott Erwitt's photogeraphy books during the exhibit at La Hune, in 2015. This blog post reminded me to order his Paris book!
Fast forward to November, 2017. I was lucky enough to FINALLY attend Paris Photo at the Grand Palais. It's sensory overload as there are HUNDREDS of photography exhibits under the glass dome. It's been on my TO DO list for years and it was overwhelming but thrilling. The highlight was getting to snap 2 quick photos of Monsieur Elliott himself. I was so awestruck, all I could do was pat his shoulder and mumble, "I'm honored."

Celebrating Elliott Erwitt
In November, 2015, I stopped in at La Hune Gallery on rue Bonaparte to have a look at the Elliott Erwitt exhibit. Erwitt is a renowned Magnum photographer and I knew of his wonderful street photography. I've always enjoyed the windows and several exhibits here through the years. Sadly
Today and for the next few days, I'll share some images from the exhibit.

Sunday Church Series - Our Lady of Paris
I don't usually do a lot of post processing with my images but this week I went back through my photographs from last November and found this image of just the steeple. Little did i know that it would be the last time I'd capture it. I decided to try an app on my phone, My Sketch, and see what it would look like. I"m pleased.
