After watching my Parisian friends dancing down by the church on rue Mouffetard, we slowly made
our way up the hill. We poked around in a few shops, took a lot of photos and then I spotted Zinc des Fleurs. Of course I had to stop in and say, "Bonjour Monsieur!" as the owner, Hervé, is one of my French Strangers from many years ago. As always he was smiling and welcoming and when I spotted these fabulous roses he said, "Put your nose in those." I did. Heavenly.

You meet the nicest people, V! (I believe I took a picture of you coming out of this shop.)
Heavenly colors too!!
Exquisite roses Virginia.. You are so lucky to be able to visit Paris often.. the only downside to living in the worlds most isolated city Perth, is just that :)
I can tell this shop is heavenly by the colors of his wrapping paper. :-)
This rose looks very similar to my French rose in the garden..
The scent is from heaven!
The perfect Sunday V. These flowers look like the wanted to be at the wedding too. Ciao J.
Ces roses sont vraiment jolies. Elles sont si grosses qu’elles ressemblent à des pivoines, vous ne trouvez-pas?
these must be the most heavenly roses I've ever put my nose into.... - I can smell them on my screen - DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roses envy :)
Vagabonde, you know I thought they might be peonies as well but thought maybe in November they were more likely roses. I will ask the other readers who are more up on peonies to give us advice.
V
They are beautiful! And they could be either roses or peonies. I would need to see the leaves. Or know how big the flowers were.
Truly lovely. I can just picture the story.
Malheureusement il y a beaucoup de parfums artificiels chez les fleuristes actuellement.
Pretty!
