Thanksgiving Paris

If you are an American living in Paris, there are probably certain food items that you must crave from time to time and would pay many euros to get your hands on.  Thanksgiving, is just the place, specializing in American groceries that are difficult to duplicate in Paris.

Wishing Americans in Paris a Happy Thanksgiving,  and I hope you have a reasonable facsimile of your favorite back home feast!

Happy Thanksgiving Virginia-- L'Institut d'Anglais Charles V, where I studied for my M.A. so many years ago, is just around the corner from that store! I don't know how many times I stopped by to stock up on American supplies back in the 1980s ;-) Every expat should have access to such a wonderful place while living abroad. I am lucky we have a French grocery store in Seattle! Enjoy this special day! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Ahh, I miss Thanksgiving (the holiday) a lot. It was my favorite holiday in the US and most of my attempts to recreate it here have failed quite miserably. nI hope yours is a good one!

I have heard of the store "Thanksgiving" for years but until I saw that photo I hadn't realized it specialized in Louisiana food.

Happy Thanksgiving, Virginia! This is the first time in over 39 years that I didn't make cornbread dressing! I hope yours turned out well!

This little store was just around the corner from where I was staying last April. V- even though we have not been in Paris at the same, our paths have crossed.
