Les Lumières à l'Hôtel de Ville

For me, the Hôtel de Ville is stunning,  jour et nuit, hiver ou d'été.

I totally agree, V! The Hotel de Ville is one of the most underestimated buildings in the city.

Ce n'est pas mon monument préféré, mais il fait partie du paysage.

The way you pictured it gives a gothic mood to the building!

The night lights look lovely, V! And a beautiful angle. So much gorgeousness.

This shot captures so many tiny surprises of light on various surfaces that I feel pulled in to discover where the light is falling - like a "Where's Waldo?" puzzle! Lovely.

It is beautiful in all seasons! Last week it was draped for Armistice Day, and by now it will be ready with its holiday lights... always a stunning sight.

This shot is so Frenchy..........Did you have to lie on your back to get it?
Warm regards.

Love that building! One of my favorite little places for a bite is just across the river with a view of the Hotel. Best when the sun goes down and the lights go up!
Lovely!

You're right—it's a gorgeous building. But even more so here as a backdrop for these spectacular streetlights. Beautiful, V!

Peter Olson..."write also en français"....I know you did not say that with a straight face! :)

I think the Hôtel de Ville is a beautiful landmark in Paris and I'm gals so many of you agree. This was taken last January while the whole place was decorated to the hilt with a skating rink and carrousel. Magnifique!

This is more a painting than a photograph, Virginia. Superb!
