The ceiling of the Église Saint-Pantaleon in Troyes, France was obviously in need of repair but the  vaulted wooden ceiling is remarkable considering the church dates to the 16th century. Note the dove hanging in the center.

Construction of the Basilique Saint Quiriace was begun in the 12th century and not completed until the 17th century.   Located in the medieval village of Provins,  in the champagne region of France
