Les bateaux

The first time I saw these boats tied together at the Bois de Boulogne, was a fabulous exhibit of Yann Arthus-Bertrand'sParis From Above.  Luckily mon ami Peter Olson was along and as we left the exhibit, we made our way on foot to this very spot.  As the weather turns warm and hopefully sunny in Paris, I'm sure the Parisians will find there way here for picnics and boat rides.

Paris Bleu - Part I

I can't help myself. The series BLEU has been in the making here in Paris for some time.
Today Part I. Oh but there will be more!

Rue de Bac

Stravinsky Fountain - Centre Pompidou
Niki de Saint Phalle/ Tinguely - artists

The Musee Marmottan Monet is an absolute MUST SEE in Paris. It houses the largest collection of Monet's work. We were not allowed to photograph inside so this is my contribution as a bleu photo!

Tile Floor - Charles de Gaulle Airport
( Did Matisse fly Air France?)

You might have noticed that my photos are larger now. Merci beaucoup Peter for so patiently fiddling with my laptop and showing my how to change the settings!!!
