I was aimlessly wandering  the Marché Saint- Eustache-les Halles when I spotted this parapluie set up by one of the vendors. Merci Monsieur!

On my travels to Paris I've noticed found objects that have been placed so that perhaps the owner will retrace their steps and find they lost belonging.  I found this dear lapin hanging on the street light, awaiting to be reunited with its wailing owner.

La Grande Roue stands at the edge of Tuileries facing Place de la Concorde from November till early January.  A symbol that Noël has arrived!

Galeries Lafayette - Les Chats Noirs

Look very closely at the adorable animals parading around the tree at Galeries Lafayette. Yes, les chats noirs were in abundance and also in one of their delightful windows as well. I would love to think they knew I was coming. Meeps was very pleased.

A Little Too Cool ?

Christmas at Galeries Lafayette is always spectacular, some years more than others.  This year I was able to photograph it from every angle. I'll admit that I still think 2008 was my absolute favorite, but I"ll share more photos in the days to come to show you why this year's décor stole my heart.

We all know that the rain in Paris is a given , but after......the reflections make it all worth it, n'est-ce pas?  The pigeon helps.

Deux Amis

While strolling through Village St. Paul, I came upon these two students from the nearby Lycée Charlamagne enjoying their lunch break.  I asked the girl if I could take her photograph,  and she agreed but asked if her friend could be included. Bien sûr!!

Last Tango in Paris?

Oh I think not. Tango dancing in Paris pops up all over the city. This Sunday as I made my pilgrimage to rue Mouffetard to see my old friends who dance there each week, I spotted one of my favorite subjects... Danielle.
