Trop de marches

I love Montmartre but the steps take a little of the fun out of it!

Il faut prendre le funiculaire...

Indeed!
«Louis» has taken those steps both directions.
It takes the wind out of him just thinking about it!

I remember those damn steps... you make them look much better than they are!

But those steps make a great photo!

Without the steps, it wouldn't be Montmartre.

I agree with you since my left knee decided to live its own life..But it's also true that Montmartre without steps would not be Montmartre..

Beautiful photo, Virginia. I always have trouble with steep hills; it is hard to convey the steepness. You shot straight ahead, and didn't tilt your camera upward, and that works. I can hardly wait for my next hill to see if I can make this approach work.

I know what you mean . I have done the steps a few times but they do make you puff :-)

If one walks both up AND down those steps, then one can have an extra "pan au chocolat," non?
Salut V de B!
