Trois Amies

Mary and I sat behind these three ladies and had a glass of wine.  I'd wager they were tourists, pouring over their map, planning their next stop.  Perhaps they crossed the street to see the Église Saint Sulpice.

I hope they had a very successful visit to Europe. I wonder how many countries they took in.

Great shot! They must be travelling together since a long time, and know how to enjoy places all together at same time.

They're so sweet. I love the way their camera or purse straps are all on the same shoulder!

Why did the tourists cross the road? (instead of sitting and having another glass of wine)

And the purse/camera straps are all at the same angle.

Hope I'm still traveling the world when I'm old and gray (or I should say older and grayer). I agree there's something about them that says "family."

The two bookends do look like sisters. The identical camera straps and the leaned-in conspiratorial positions make this.
