Parapluie Rouge II

Many of you might remember this umbrella from the cover of my book, Paris Rouge Through My Lens   While searching around in my photos yesterday, I found this shot that I'd also taken and never given a thought to after I found the other.  She was in a hurry as she rushed below my perch in the window above her, but something caught her eye in the shop across the street.

I love the slight haze around this shot. It emphasises the rains perfectly.

I remember the other -- I like them both, for different reasons!

Love it love it. I think that the shop next to La Cordonnerie is a upscale print shop with samples of letterpress invitations and stationery...leave it to the French to stop in the rain to look at fine craftsmanship!!!

J'aime!

I think she was looking at papeterie imprimés at Les Lettres de Saint-Roch, n'est-ce pas ?

James I think you are right about that. I wonder why I've never gone in! Our apartment where we sometimes stay is just across the street.
