So Many Books...

ALWAYS too little time.  I always seem to be zipping by these stalls at breakneck speed. I should devote an afternoon to just browsing.

Paris hasn't changed much in the past thousand years or so, what's your hurry?

You definitely should, V—you never know what treasures you might find. (And I love this in b and w too.)

I always want to browse, too.

And I forget that they are books written in French!

All I can do is look at the pictures!

Hi Virginia
these book stalls are a favorite but the vendors can be annoyed if you browse and do not follow up with a purchase... which happened to me not long ago ;( it makes a great picture !!

Hey, slow down, sweetheart. This is one part of Paris where you need to take your time and browse. I always find something I need (OK, something I want).

Now this is a part of Paris I savor! One of my favorites. Like the b/w treatment!

Good to remember, dear V, the importance of slowing down to browse the books {and smell the roses}. Bon weekend to you and Meepsie!

Well, for me, I enjoy the observations that occur at different paces...slow, in one spot for an afternoon, or fast & intense glimpses...I lovely your photo here, Rita

I wish I'd spent more time browsing these when I was in Paris 5 years ago!
