Serendipity

What are the chances that it would snow in Paris over the weekend AND that Belle Inspiration Magazine would publish a group of my Paris in the Snow photos at the same time?  To celebrate, I decided to share one of the photographs they featured, the courtyard of The American Cathedral in Paris during a delightful snowfall in January 2010.  If you want to see some nice photographs from this weekend's snow, slide on over to Peter's Paris and have a look at his!

Merci to Belle Inspiration's editor Mimi Bleu for sending along this peek at my photos!

Lovely shot, quite uncommon in Paris. I visited Peter's page as well. He has some incredible photos of frozen Parisians. ;-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Superb your snow photos, almost in b&w! Yes, a real pity you missed the snow during your last visit, just a little bit too early! But, at least, you have seen Paris and your beloved Palais Royal covered in white!

Fantastic!

I enjoyed Peter's post too, especially the collages of all the people wrapped up trying to stay warm!

I love this photo, the ancient-ness of the stone reverberates in the cold of the snow

Love this photo with patina and crispy air, sheltered from wind and city sounds.

Congratulations Virginia. How wonderful to have your photos published. This is fabulous ... Quintessential Parisienne Winter ... slate rooves shining with moisture, arched windows looking down onto a grey courtyard blanketed in snow. What more could we ask for. Thx.
