Paris is probably the most photographed city on the planet. I don't fool myself that I could ever find a new point of view that someone has not already discovered. It doesn't keep me from the eternal search however!
This crisp, January Sunday afternoon, Mary and I made our way through Luxembourg Gardens. We were grateful that not many tourists spoiled our view. This image of the Medici Fountain brings back some wonderful memories.

So many wonderful places to photograph in Paris, we were there in January too. Loved the cold and clear light for taking photographs.

This is my favorite quiet place in Paris regardless of the season and I have fond memories of sitting half-way down the left side in the green metal chairs eating babirusas and sipping wine with Holly - probably not allowed but....
Hahahaha - my computer device did not let me say "baguettes" - wonder what a babirusas is anyway??
This has become my favorite spot since Genie introduced me to it. Ready to sit there and eat babirusas!!!

Starman, you get creative when there are tourists! If you try to shoot it head on, all you'll get are tourists standing in front of it. grrrr

V - your photos of Paris are at the top of my list. (Must also add that Genie and Laurent are up there, too.) In my opinion, you always give us a fresh look at Paris landmarks, and I never tire of seeing your photos.
G- you threw me a curve with those babirusas....baguettes, I can identify with. My WV might qualify as a first cousin to your babirusas - beriveds.

When I went to Paris the first time, I had a literal list of spots I wanted to visit. This fountain was on the list! Of course, I can't say that no one else has photographed this angle, but I can tell you that I have looked at oodles of Paris photos in my lifetime, and this is the first time *I* have seen a photo of this fountain from this angle. It is gorgeous!!!
