Monsieur et son chien

This delightful gentleman posed for me, with his dear chien earlier this day and became French Stranger #8.  I snapped this as they left for home.

A very beautiful street candid composition in B&W !

Lovely natural tree arch and so good in monochrome Virginia, funny how dogs have to stop and smell everything.

Oooh, I like this! Makes me want to wander about in Paris again (this and the movie we just saw)!

I would be happy if we could have a Jardin du Palais Royal "cam" in order to watch this place day and night... great capture!

I just hope he used a plastic pick-it-up bag! Yes, that's my pet peeve!

Leif, in Paris? They never heard about it! HA

Genie, PR cam,,,great idea.

Wong, thank you

Catherine, I do as well, maybe because they are unaware and more natural.

Maya, we've never all gathered here. We should.

Perth, the trees almost caused it to be too dark but I love the framing and the light at the end. I love this place in any season.

32, I love the chairs in Paris!

Costas, J'adore votre comment. Merci!

I don't think it is possible to take a bad photo in Palais Royale, the place is remarkable!

Nice shady spot on a warm day. I like the way the man seems to have such patience with his little friend who is in no hurry...

If you look carefully, you'll see there is nothing in either hand with which to re-claim his dear chien's little gifts.

I noticed that too, Starman! Perhaps his pockets are filled with sturdy plastic baggies. V, whether he keeps the garden clean or not, I love both of your shots of monsieur and his petit chien.

It is a wonderful place and a grand shot. I'm going to overlook canine hygiene because this is my keyboard and I can type what I want.

Oh let's stop guessing. Monsieur had no intention of cleaning up after his petit chien, he's a Parisian! :)

Protest: Some Parisians have started to clean up! It's slowly getting better! :-)

(I wonder where you took this photo?) :-))
