Ma Bourgogne was a familiar spot for me last summer. When I was alone, I sought this place on Place des Vosges with waiters that recognized me and made me feel welcome. This was my favorite waiter. He had many talents!
BTW, I have one of these very special Ma Bourgogne glasses thanks to my dear blog friend
Alexa, who sent me one from her last visit to Paris.
* I posted this a tad early yesterday, excusez moi!

Oh V, do you realize what you've said? You're a regular at a cafe in Place des Vosges!
Hmmmm...what's French for *barfly*???
I find myself holding my breath as I'm looking at this one!
wow, very good pic , a talented waiter !
Would you believe me if I told you that I pinched it from the bottom of the pile as he was passing by? :~} You've got some serious Paris status when you can claim Ma Bourgogne as your very own "pub local." Love this picture, V!
I just hope that Parisian waiter never tripped while carrying so many glasses - oj da!
A wonderful place in any season, mon amie. When Holly, John, and I were there in December we were his only customers on the terrace.... brrrrr!
This self-proclaimed klutz is riveted with deep admiration of his glass balancing skills -- surely I would a) drop some or b) trip and fall and break them all! Would that I could sit on the terrace with you sipping on a nice glass of wine! Perfect portrait in B&W and a lovely new header!
Don't you just love being a 'regular' at a Paris café. Special memories for sure.
Ooooh la la ..
I'm listening to Francoise Hardy and looking at beautiful Paris images, what could be better!
I'm wondering how many times he had to train before being able to do this!
Practical when you want your glass full all the time.
You have to give it to French waiters: when they are good, they are good!
Wow, look at that pile of glasses!! I love to have breakfast at "Ma Bourgogne".
