The rouge and the butterflies caught my eye. How on earth did I miss the SHOES inside???
My newest photography book, Paris Rouge, will be available soon. Stay tuned for details.

The butterflies theme goes wonderfully with that warm and vivacious colour. Not sure if I'd have been distracted enough to miss the shoes, though. ;) I'm very much looking forward to hearing about your book, dear V.
great dtory on this shot ! :)
Magnificent red in all! This facade is so charming!

That is an unbelievable looking shop front Virginia, it's possible I might have missed the shoes too!!
Wow - the RED really grabs me by the arm! Great Paris Rouge snap, V!
Bonjour d'EAGAN
D-i-v-i-n-e! Le rouge, les papillons, et les chaussures.... le tout dans un magasin... magnifique!
The butterflies are so unusual! Love them! I think Genie and I need to put this on our list. Parfait photo!
I was wondering what the butterflies had to do with shoes .. but then I stopped wondering and concentrated on the shoes.. and bags
Ooohh la la!!!
wv: pedkween....something about being a queen of shoes????
Nothing could possibly be more rouge than this!
What a beautiful store! Although, the butterflies and carmine red do distract from the shoes, it doesn't surprise me Vialis would have a cool-looking store because their shoes are also fabulous! Since I'm not in Europe, I've gotten mine from Ped Shoes. Spanish style--love, love, love.
This may be my fave "rouge" of yours so far (hard to choose though, and a whole book of them sounds like a truly brilliant idea!). However, the first thing that struck my bargain-hunting eye was the word "soldes" (backward and forward)! :~}
I'm sorry....I have to tell...my first thought seeing the name of the store...Vialis...was French for Viagra!!!! Or Vitalis!!!
Oh i spotted the shoes right away!
Love the red on this building! WOW!
Une très belle devanture... Gros bisous
I love the red and the butterflies too! But I still see the shoes ;-))
Looks really very good, well seen and done!
Pamela from French Buttons just told me about your blog. I love it! Wonderful photos, and so fun to see bits and pieces of such a wonderful place. The red shop with butterflies is amazing!
I followed the link on Shell Sherree's blog to preview your book. How original - I love Paris and your photos are amazing - will have to treat myself to a copy! Can't wait.
