Look Up!
I have spent many wonderful hours at the Palais Royal, one of my favorite places in Paris. Each visit I try and find a new detail or way to photograph it in a different way. Many of you will recognize one of the lamps shot from below.

La Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans
My mind and my camera has been focusied on ballerinas lately. I took this photograph in November when i revisited the lovely boutique at the Opéra Garnier. Dégas' danseuse would have been a lovely gift to our ballerina Chappell, if only I'd been able to get her home in my suitcase.

Galeries Lafayette, J'adore!
Yesterday's post featured my very favorite Galeries Lafayette Christmas, 2008. Today, the runner up, Christmas 2015. This is a bittersweet image. This afternoon I had a delightful lunch and tour of Galeries Lafayette with their charming international PR person. Later that evening Paris was devastated by the terrorists attacks.

Paris Rouge - Noël Grand
My first Paris Christmas experience was November, 2008. I was in awe of the gorgeous tree and the enormous balls hanging from the dome. The looked like red silk. I have seen many Galeries Lafayette Christmas decorations over the years since, but this was by far my favorite.
