Amazing photos V. What spectacular lights! I've definitely never seen anything like this anywhere. I really must get to Paris for Christmas some year.

Does it still change color? I guess I'll see for myself in a few days, eh?

Starman,
I don't think they change colors. All my photos looked the same. You just take a few photos when you arrive and let me know!

Harriet,
If you've not been at Christmas, you must. Katie, you too!

Barb,
Merci

Spectacular!

«Louis» loves the food department (Lafayette Gourmet) in that store. It is truly sensational!

Is Samarataine still closed?

Amazing! I visited Galleries Lafayette when I was there in the summer. I took photos of the ceiling inside because I thought it was beautiful, but this outside photo with the Christmas lights is just stunning!

Exactly the same this year!

No, they don't change colour, but the lights go and come in waves! This is when it's all "full", the right moment for a photo!

Well I guess Peter's right, I happened upon the right moment. I didn't know the lights changed. It is just an amazing thing to see. Wish i'd looked closer as to how they do it. You are all right, it's just a gorgeous thing to see in person.
