Le Cimetière - Joigny FR

This cimetière was in the lovely town of Joigny, France. The fields you see behind are vineyards.

Today's post is for my friend Mary Gilbert who, if she could, would drag me to every cimetière in Paris. This trip, a pet cemetery has magically appeared on our itinerary. I not sure about that, but I'm willing to have a look!

Today I join Aileni's Monochrome Weekend once more. Click here to see the other entries!

Drawing! Sign me up:) I need a calender considering I'm always late and unorganized. Does this mean that I'm becoming French?

We all need calendars to keep us organized but it would be wonderful to have one of your's to enjoy your photography everyday.

Hmm, it occurs to me that I didn't actually say Why I'd love to win your calendar, Virginia. It's all about the photos, my dear!

Grandious urbanity in a rural setting.

Thérèse,
I'm glad the feeling passes. Thanks for the spelling tip BTW, just when i think I don't need to look something up......I really do! And don't get overly impressed with my français, I use the translator most of the time! :(

Hiker,
I'll remember that.

Louis,
Merci

Aileni- HA!!

Shell,
I knew that darlin'.

Diane H,
You're in!

Marie Reed,
oh I"m thinking you are trés French by now. I've noticed they don't ever seem to be in a hurry unless they are driving or trying to catch the Metro! :)

Awww Virg, you are too kind.
I promise that if it's too cold we'll skip the pet cemetery and go to Passy instead. It's very small but just exquisite, photo ops at every step.
17 days and counting!
xx,
M

I would love to have a calendar! I feel guilty beacuse I havent looked at your blog in a long time, and now I'm entering a contest. I need a calendar so I can count how many days until the next holiday from school! =) And then, when the number makes me sad, I can look at your pictures and cheer up! Well, anyhow, Merry Christmas from my mom and I!

Ahhhhh Rip,
Of course you should enter the contest! After all, you had to endure a whole third grade year avec Mme Jones and........watch her Paris photo slideshow one zillion times!
Joyeux Noël !

Awarewriter,

He asked, "what would you like for your 50th birthday?"
"Paris", I said.
And we did.
But that was oh so long ago.
If only.
