Le Mariage

Parc Monceau proved a beautiful setting for this wedding party's photo session.  I think the bridesmaids' gowns might have outshown the bride's.

Hi Virginia,

Lovely background for the wedding photographs. I think we all love to see a wedding.
Many thanks for visiting me today and I hope you are having a lovely week

Hugs

What a gorgeous venue for a wedding! - I love that park - makes me think of Claude Monet's painting in that romantic garden!

Oh, at first glance I thought this was a vintage photo, when I looked at the guests on the left. But the bride looks modern! Absolutely gorgeous!

Those bridesmaids' dresses are quite eye catching. The sheer capelets are a lovely touch. It's a beautiful scene, V!

I knew immediately the location as the tree, the pond, and the columns are quite distinctive, but like BlueFruit thought that this was a vintage shot... glad you were the "other" wedding photographer that day!

I think the choice of B&W here was the impact !

Oh they all look so gorgeous, what a perfect background for wedding photos's. When they're old and grey (?) they'll be able to look back at this gorgeous scene. How do you make your final decision on whether you'll go colour or B&W Virginia?

Perth,
I usually always choose BW for portraits because it places the focus on the person. Here I chose it because some of the guests had on bright colors that were distracting I thought.

Parc Monceau is a great place for anything.

It is a beautiful scene, as your blogging buddies have all said. I like sneaking photos of wedding parties, but my daughter tells me it is creepy. What does she know? I think people at weddings look their best and usually are happy.
