do you see the letter "N" on the bridge? Have not done any research but if I remember it correctly... it refers to Napoleon III?

I do love the way dusk seems to linger in Paris, putting its soft glow on the Seine and all of the city.

What a great capture of this familiar landmark area.

Love the lights.

Beautiful night shot, but this part of the bridge is the Pont au Change, with a view of the Théâtre du Châtelet.
The Pont Saint-Michel is on the other side of the Île de la Cité.

Time to make your plans for the evening ahead . . . in Paris. Sigh.

VP,
Thank you for the correction. I learned something new about the bridges of Paris today! I depend on all of you to help me with this and my French as well!

There is something very pleasant about this scene, Virginia. I can't put my finger on it. It is simple and yet your central and lit place is warm. I would enjoy strolling around and coming upon this scene.
