Viva la difference Virginia!! My Paris balcony would probably be more like the below one, love the plants. How do you always manage to find that little touch of red!

Anything in Paris, even the trash, the alleys, le bon et le mauvais, has a certain appeal!!!! Anita

I love, love the bottom balcony! Embarrassed for the top balcony owner! Zat's strange, non?!

Hmmm, let's hope the upper balcony owner is a very interesting writer, who travels constantly and doesn't have a green thumb..Just like our physical makeup..the outer shell does not always reflect what is within..Okay maybe he should just sell a book and pay his neighbor to landscape his balcony :)Pretty picture..

In all the time I've spent in Paris, I've never seen anyone actually sitting on their balcon. What a waste!

Or perhaps it's le bon et l'abondonné? In which case, I'd love to take over that top balcony (and the apt. within!) and give the downstairs neighbors a run for their money. :~} Sorry I haven't commented for a few days (it's official—my job has taken over my life). Loooved the shot you waited for from Thursday!

So many windows, so many ways of life..:o)
I have no time to come here as much as I would want, especially those days, but know that I LOVE the mood of this blog! I just looked at the pictures below, wanted to begin to comment, but it would have been too long for me now, but HO, how fabulous are your pictures! I feel the flagrance of Paris very well(was born there , did you know?..)
Have a nice week-end!

The lower balcony is marvelous, Virginia, but is there room left to sit and enjoy the night?

Effectivement Virginia, la différence est nette! et oui certains n'ont pas la "main verte" comme on dit en France!

I prefer the balcony with the flowers. Love the white shutters.
