An amazing view Virginia.
I've never seen Arc de Triomphe from this angle before - very clever!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Very cool. I like the way the long lens compresses things.

Wonderful shot with a 50's postcard view of this famous avenue... glad that you were hanging on tightly!

The sepia effect gives it an old time look ... until you look at the new buildings in the background .. nice!

Wonderful, Virginia. It looks like something from the 30s. Or, so they say. I wasn't around.

I love the Grande Roue, but for obvious reasons, missed it on the last trip.

It does look vintage. I would NOT like to try driving down there!

Wow! If it wasn't for La Défense, I might even believe this was a vintage photo. A view (and photo op) like this might even be worth a slight case of Ferris phobia.

This is especially special, V.

The compression of distance is superb, VJ. It makes La Defense appear to be 'just there'. Nicely processed, and nicely shot in that just-off-centre way.

Julie, when you're bobbing around in that glass capsule (avec rain splatters) you just snap away and pray for something. I actually chose sepia because the color was so awful! There you have my confessions!
