Les jardins des Paris

"Nous n'avez pas de jardin?  Moi non plus.  Aimons celui que nous inventons."
Colette

("You don't have a garden? Me either.  So let's love the one we imagine. ")

I would content myself with a balcony or terrace in Paris...

Quelle belle capture photographique...
Si je n'avais pas de jardin et si je vivais à Paris je voudrais bien avoir ce clin d'oeil de ma fenêtre...
Gros bisous

Is this a prelude to a garden series (one hopes)?

So pretty. Our roses don't bloom for another month. Why don't lovely poetic thoughts like that come to my pragmatic mind?

Gardens are too much work. I'd rather let the professionals do it and then I can just sit and admire their efforts.

Of course, no need for Colette to envy those with their own garden (or even to invent one!) considering her apartment looked out on the gorgeous gardens of the Palais Royal. This is a beautiful image, V!

This is so pretty that I don't even have words for it.

Picture perfect image V...With only my small balcony, this makes up for the lack of a garden.

Gorgeous! And there was, and hasn't been since, anyone quite like Colette. :)
