Signes du Samedi - Alain

I was on a hunt for these charming old signs this last trip and found this one in the Marais.  It made me think of our friend Alain who hosts Montpellier Croix d'argent - Sète canal maritime.  Don't you love the little moustache below!

Merci pour cette dédicace. Les coiffeurs qui acceptent de "faire une barbe" sont assez rares.

How quaint! Much more appealing than just a barbershop pole!

I didn't now such charming things existed! I'm just waiting for Hercule Poirot to step into the shop. Yes, I know he was supposed to be Belgian :-)

I do indeed love the moustache below Virginia, but not as much as Aimee does, she has a thing about quirky jewellery (I bet that doesn't surprise you haha!) and she has a gorgeous little black moustache necklace. Gorgeous sign with it's little lantern and all!!

Much nicer than a plain sign. Reminds me of film clips I've seen of men in the 1920 who wore bushy mustaches and waxed them stiff! LOL
