You can leap anything on a steed of stone.

A good composition in a non-fitting environment for such a beauty !

I like your photo too... it makes one stop and think.. the different elements are not what you expect to see in one single shot... bravo !
Bonne journée...still sunshine on this side of the ocean...

Very funny since I saw a cat grooming play toy today that this makes me think of that...grooming the cheval..,

Where's Steve McQueen when I need him!!

I think your title is most a propos! He's either leaping over the fence or leaping into the ferris wheel!

Ya'll follow me...to Ladurée!

Please tell me the fence is temporary. I definitely see why you like this shot. The random elements make a fascinating composition. I imagine him looking back at a traffic jam and feeling grateful for his own mode of transportation!

Great photo!
He's escaping the ugly modern world!

Love the leaping statue and the juxtaposition of the different elements! Bien vu!

To me, it appears the guy is either trying to get off or get on the horse. Maybe he decided he'd rather ride the roue.

I guess this photo is very symbolic for you, Miss Virginia!

I see a huge V made of steel; the horse and the rider symbolizing your frequent leaps from one side of the ocean to the other side!

Starman, I think you're right since he's riding sidesaddle! :)

Alexa, I am not sure if this is temporary or not. I hope it is! And the traffic at Place de la Concorde is a scary thought!

Maria,
I never even thought of that!

Pamela,
I think he's trying to escape as well.

Mad,
I'd follow him to Ladurée!

A lot going on here, Virginia. I like it, too. You don't have to explain.
