I love them! Where exactly are they?

I would have called you out—this pink is too lovely to be anything but what it is!

It is a very nice photo, Virginia. I don't recall seeing lamps like these before.

A very photogenic building. Would love to visit it. I'm no expert but 'pink' just seems too understated. How about 'cerise'?

Beautiful color. I see they are located somewhere along Rue de Rivoli. I miss so much in Paris because I'm usually too tired to go wandering around at night. Really appreciate your photos.

Vreni,
I would say closer to the Concorde end of RIvoli, across from Tuileries.

It looks close enough to me.

What I need to know is just where Genie came up with 'hot pank'? Is there a recess in her brain that she is not letting on about?

Oh and Julie,
Down here in the south , HOT PANK, translates to Hot PInk, but you must know by now that "we talk funny"! :)

Julie said...

Well, yes, just so ... although Genie's accent is subdued ... but 'hot pank' has a wonderful sense of humour to it ... so the south has that too ...

Virginia said...

Julie, yes, PANK is definitely a color. My mother used it all the time. Sort of like yellow and yeller! :)

The storms have passed thankfully, and we are safe. Pray for those in other areas in the SE that are devastated!
