I'll admit that I trekked off to Paris a few times before escargot ever passed my lips. Merci to mon ami Peter, who did a little smooth talking and generously shared one or two of his last summer. Why did I wait so long?? Beurre à l'ail on ANYTHING is divine. I snapped L'Escargo Montorgueil because of its delightful signage. I've not been there to dine, but I'd like to one day.
