Mad About Paris

Joyeux anniversaire mon amie Mary. She and I have been friends since we met on Virtual Tourist ( she was Mad About Paris and I was Paris Mumsie!) three years ago. We share a love of Paris and all things French and so much more. So far we've been together in Paris twice and we're planning another in the very near future. This photo was taken from the apartment window last summer. Mary was looking for a rainbow over the Val de Grace. Here's to many more rainbows in Paris mon chère amie!

Happy birthday, Mary! This is a wonderful portrait. It should be passed down through the generations.

I met my BFF online, also. She lives in Georgia. We've been everywhere together and I cannot imagine my life without her in it.

Hmmm, not so sure I agree with a lot of those Ten Things Not to Do in Paris. Don't go to the Eiffel Tower? As if.

I do agree with checking out the canal scene. You can find our own young "bobo," Guille, there!

ET Suz,
I think they said not to wait in line for eons to get to the top! I don't recommend it either. I've done it once when it was freezing cold and pouring rain....voila! NO LINES NO WAITING. The view from the top is fine. I like the one from the dome of the Sacre Coeur better. Did I say that?? :)

Oh I'll check that canal scene! :)

Mon amie Mary is en route to a family funeral so I don't think she's had a chance to see her photo and everyone's sweet comments. She will on her return.
Hugs Mar!

Happy Birthday to Mary! Loved the link—and there is at least one way to avoid standing in line at the ET if you really want to go up.

Merci mille fois mon amie...what a sweet surprise - you are so kind and thoughtful.
I have never been happier to arrive in CVG as I was yesterday - however I will be ecstatic to leave CVG for CDG to meet up avec toi! How do you say "whirlwind" en Francais?
