L'escalier

I wish I knew where I took this last January. I believe I just stuck my camera up against a window. It's typical of most apartment entrances, but maybe larger than most, but every bit as charming.

Ginnie,
The uneven stairs for starters! :)

Nice capture, V. This escalier is definitely listing a bit to starboard—but that just adds to its charm.

Alexa,
Why I haven't fallen down some of those Parisian stairs by now, I'll never know. THe ones to our flat last January were so worn and lopsided, but lovely of course.

That escalier could use a bit of tender, loving care before someone gets killed.

Authentic, Virginia. Hope owners won't renovate it, it is telling us its story.....
Good choice for a post.
