 Novembre in Paris is almost as lush as summer months. We pushed open some doors to find this lovely.

As much as I love staying in apartments in Paris, rather than hotels, I confess I have a love/hate relationship with the stairways!  They are a photographer's delight, but on the other hand, they are the bane of my existence if there is no lift.

I'm fairly certain that there's nothing more beautiful than a stairway in Paris. This especially elegant one from the Musée Rodin.

Those of you who have been lucky enough to visit Paris and stay in an apartment,  know staircases like these oh so very well. They often dip in the middle from wear, and can be a very long trek up after a full day of walking Paris streets.  As much as I have cursed them when I'm dragging my luggage up,  I still love how charming they are, especially on the way down!

The beautiful Musée Jacquemart-André  located in this gorgeous 19th Century mansion contains an impressive collection of paintings, sculpture and tapestries.  Not as well known as many other museums in Paris but certainly worth a visit.

I wish I knew where I took this last January. I believe I just stuck my camera up against a window. It's typical of most apartment entrances, but maybe larger than most, but every bit as charming.
