Encore une fois vous demander? Certainement! At the gardens of the Palais Royal a photographer can find endless delights. Forgive me for returning again and again. On my last visit we stayed very close and of course there was la neige to make it even more delightful. This photo was taken last summer.
I've had a fascination for these chairs you find in many parks in Paris. They are so condusive to sitting, reading, napping? I'd love four for my patio back home!
Today I again join the Monochrome Weekend group of great photographers. Have a look
here.

Great...it must be very nice to sit in the parks and only look...
Greetings

An air of expectancy, beautifully created in one photo, V!
About these famous chairs, you could have a look to www.fermob.com
Have a nice Sunday, Virginia!
I like your chairs but what I like more is the allée (don’t know how to say that in English) with the trees on both sides. I am always tempted by road with high trees, or paths in the woods. Maybe because of my childhood in France when we often rode into the country and most of the roads were surrounded by high trees.
wonderfull photo with a great prospective..!
Bye
Dario
Vagabonde,
An allée is what I'd call it as well. LOVE THEM IN FRANCE!
They look rather uncomfortable. Maybe the French bring their own cushions?
Alice,
Merci for the site. My daughter has the bistro chairs!
Starman,
I like the ones that slope back like the one in front here. I remember a nice afternoon spent in one with my feet propped up on the edge of a fountain at Tuileries enjoying some very good company and conversation.
Merci Dario, Yvi and Shell!
Nice pic and I would love to have a pair of them also....Barb
Such a beautiful and evocative composition, V! (And as much as I love ALL of your photos of Paris, you could do Palais Royal Daily Photo and get no complaint from moi.)
Paris Rouge, Paris bleu, les chaises de Paris... I love them all, your pictures Virginia!
Barb, Alexa and Thérèse,
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy my photographs. I love sharing them with you all so very much.

I love the image of you with your feet propped up on a fountain almost as much as I love your photo!!!
Chieftess,
A very nice memory of a day well spent in Paris. :)
Les chaises, SI!
Les piliers de Burien, NON!
For me this photo creates a story of romance. Love it.
